What to Expect with Mike’s Painting NJ?
The process begins when you send a few photos of the area and your ideal vision for the perfect completed project. Once this information is received you will be given a proposal for the total cost of the project. After your review of the proposal, a consultation will be set up for us to come to your home where we will take a close look at the project and discuss your vision. After our consultation you will receive a detailed follow up email. Once you decide to begin your home’s transformation with us, we will work together to schedule a date for your project to begin. The best part of the process happens next: you sit back as your vision comes to life.
The Process
When we begin the cabinet refinishing process, we start by removing all doors, drawers, and hardware. These pieces can conveniently be refinished on site or at our shop causing less disturbance to your daily routine. While we are refinishing your cabinets, the kitchen is completely sealed off from the rest of your home, and our filtered ventilation system is put into place. After thoroughly cleaning and sanding, we spray two coats of a bonding sealer primer that will ensure your finish will be everlasting. We then spray two coats of your chosen finish paint with our high end HVLP spray system while sanding between each coat. Following these steps gives your cabinets that polished factory finish. We then reinstall all of the cabinetry and leave your kitchen and the rest of your home just as clean, if not cleaner, than it was before we arrived. This same meticulous process is followed for projects involving furniture and built-ins ensuring all of our work delivers the same top-notch quality.
